Oil, Supplies and Vehicle Logistics
Frontline uses two separate resources. Supplies build the network and pay for ordinary equipment; oil powers the high-value military assets that can break a front.
Supplies
Every strategic base has a local supply capacity, starting balance, and production rate. Supplies are stored in the normal Reforger resource container, not inside the request tent. Use them for facilities, empty transport vehicles, equipment, and other ordinary logistics. Home headquarters currently hold up to 10,000 supplies and produce 500 per minute; the airport holds 9,000 and produces 450 per minute. Forward sites produce less, making the major industrial objectives strategically important.
Oil
The Chotain Oil Refinery is the active oil producer. It begins with 20 barrels, produces one barrel per minute, and every base has room for up to 100 barrels when oil can be accepted there. COE Airport Command begins with 32 barrels. Once per server hour, each still-owned home location can receive up to 32 additional barrels: Lamentin for US, Saint-Pierre for USSR, and Airport Command for COE.
Move oil by truck
Prepare the destination
Build oil storage for 150 supplies at the receiving base. A producing base or a base with oil storage can load a truck; unloading always requires built oil storage.
Park close to the tent
Use a supported M923A1 or Ural transport truck and park within 15 meters of the logistics terminal.
Load up to 16 barrels
Each action transfers one barrel. Every loaded barrel appears in the truck bed. Those barrel props are render-only, collisionless attachments so they do not fight the vehicle physics.
Unload at a secure base
The destination must belong to your faction and must have finished its 90-second stabilization period. Oil storage must have room for the barrel.
A supported truck can carry its normal supply cargo and its separately tracked oil cargo at the same time. Players can also carry and deposit one oil barrel by hand.
What consumes oil?
Unarmed vehicles use supplies. Armed vehicles, armored vehicles, artillery, and aircraft use oil. The current APC request costs 10 barrels and requires local oil storage. Radio relays cost 300 supplies to build, consume one oil barrel immediately for their first hour, and then consume one barrel per hour to stay online.
